Photosynthesis grace

Just like his first name says, Stewart K Lundy “looks after” people, animals, plants, flowers, bees, angels. He watches their movement, their rhythm, the flow of it all. He immerses himself into their parallelisms, their coherences, their incoherences, all their meeting points.

Stewart “supplies food”:

That is indeed where Stewart’s gift lives in: his ability to write as beautifully as he farms, his power to see the same spiritual ideal in a plant as he would reading any of the sacred scriptures.

Steward is a farmer and a writer, he loves the dirt as much as he loves to read books. He is a rare intellectual attempting to understand the most important intelligence of all times, the intelligence of nature.

When we had this conversation, Stewart was at home in Virginia and I was at home in Paris, facing the grand Basilica of the Sacred Heart. I mentioned how special this was for me to experience this three ways connection with the Sacred Heart. He then showed me the medal he was wearing picturing… the Sacred Heart! At that very moment, I understood the “photosynthesis grace” he was describing earlier.
