Walls

There is no answer, there is just a wall,

Infinite distance and indifference,

No way to escape but to remain tall.

How can one embrace that gift of silence?

Walls are all over, perfectly erect,

Standing to divide, like we’re separate?

Building fondations, simply to protect?

Empowering dreams, ways to manifest?

Walls are there to stay, for us to transcend.

Like the elephant and the obstacles,

The mind and body, all that’s sensible,

When you face a wall, know that you ascend.

The few holes inside are tabernacles

Holding the divine, God made visible.
